SB Occasions · Draft for legal review
Privacy Notice
This draft requires legal review before production launch.
01
Who this notice covers
This notice applies to SB Occasions clients, invited guests and people using event websites. The client supplies much of the event and guest information and determines whom to invite; SB Occasions operates the digital service. A responsible business contact must be confirmed before launch.
02
Information collected
Client account and security data may include name, email, encrypted authentication credentials, login and security records. Event data may include hosts, dates, venues, design selections and website settings. Guest data may include names, household relationships, contact details, invitations, RSVP responses, permitted party size, preferences, check-in details and messages where those features are enabled. Payment references, status and payment-proof information may be handled where applicable.
03
How information is used
We use information to establish accounts, configure event websites, deliver invitations and requested communications, manage responses and guest access, process payments, provide support, prevent misuse and maintain service reliability. We use data for the event and service purposes described here, not as an unrelated guest directory.
04
Service providers and processing locations
Hosting, authentication, storage, payment, email and messaging providers may process information only as needed to provide their services. Processing or storage may occur outside Nigeria; where applicable, appropriate safeguards should be assessed before launch. We do not sell guest lists.
05
Security
Client workspaces require verified accounts and passwords. Access is limited according to account and event permissions. We use technical and organisational measures to protect information, but no online service can promise absolute security. Guests may use separate invitation-based access.
06
Retention and closure
The event website remains available for 60 days after the final event date. Closing the website does not itself erase all account, guest or event records. Before production launch, we will define and publish specific deletion periods and procedures for event data, backups, payment records and legally required records. Clients may contact us to request deletion or export where available.
07
Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, individuals may ask to access, correct or delete their information, object to or limit certain processing, or raise a concern. Guests can also contact the event organiser about information they supplied. A working privacy contact channel must be published before launch.
08
Cookies and analytics
Essential cookies and local storage may maintain sign-in, security and setup progress. Any optional analytics or tracking should be identified here before being activated. Browser settings may limit non-essential storage.
09
Updates and contact
We may update this notice as the service changes and will indicate the revised version. A verified SB Occasions privacy contact and effective date must be added before production use.
